Mee Goreng (Fried Noodles)


Let's go back to our roots and cook something familiar today. Everyone's favourite dish, Mee Goreng! Super simple and easy to cook!




Ingredients (for 2 servings)

  • 210g of LG Yellow Noodles

  • 100g of beansprouts

  • 100g of koo chye

  • 3 gloves of garlic (grated)

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tablespoons of oyster sauce

  • 2 tablespoons of dark soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons of shaoxing wine

  • a dash of white pepper

  • a dash of sugar

Instructions


  1. Heat the pan or wok over high heat with oil. Add grated garlic and stir frequently, until aromatic. Add beaten eggs and LG Yellow Noodles in and cook for a minute.

  2. Prepare the sauce. In a bowl, mix the oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, shaoxing wine, white pepper, sugar and a tablespoon of water.

  3. Once the sauce is well mixed, add it to the pan or wok and continue stirring until the noodles are well coated with the black sauce. Add beansprouts and koo chye in when you are almost done.

  4. Once the desired doneness, remove from the pan or wok. Garnish it with sesame seeds or spring onions.

  5. Enjoy!
