Have you heard? LG Foods has officially touched down in London! As the first step to bring our local Singaporean flavours worldwide, LG Foods has partnered with Chew On This to provide our fresh noodle products for the opening of Singapulah, a Singapore-themed restaurant in London.

Located in the heart of Soho, on Shaftesbury Avenue, the store was designed to transport you right into the bustle of hawker stalls, with familiar smells and sights of Singapore back in the 70s-80s! This restaurant not only offers Londoners a genuine taste of Singapore, but also gives Singaporeans abroad a nostalgic reminder of home sweet home.

Our Mee Tai Bak was used in the Singapore Laksa and our Kway Teow Noodles were used in the Char Kway Teow. Typically, Mee Tai Bak is used for stir-fried dishes, soup dishes and some even incorporate it into claypot dishes. For Kway Teow, they are used in stir-fried dishes like Char Kway Teow.

Our fresh, pasteurised Mee Tai Bak and Kway Teow Noodles are made from rice of the finest quality to give a silky-smooth feeling in the mouth. Additionally, the fragrant aroma of the rice can be tasted while chewing the noodles.

Singapulah showcases the diverse flavours of Singapore with a wide range of dishes. What makes Singapulahs’ Laksa special is that instead of the typical yellow noodles or vermicelli noodles, they've added their own twist by using Mee Tai Bak. Visitors will also get the chance to indulge in classic Singaporean delights such as the iconic Durian Ice Cream and traditional Kopi-C. These dishes truly encapsulate and represent our local flavours, and we are delighted to be supporting this initiative and celebrating Singaporean pride by bringing the authentic taste of Singapore abroad!
